Greater Green Island Lessons and Carols

Sun, Dec. 18, 2016 7:00pm — 8:00pm

Last year, a packed church enjoyed the first Greater Green Island Community’s Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols sponsored by the combined Presbyterian, Catholic, Anglican and Baptist churches.  The carols were led by a nearly 30 member choir. Lessons were read by people representing business, medical, education, sport and service organizations.  This year reading will be done by representation the various districts which make up the Greater Green Island Community.  This year it is St Peter Chanel's turn to be the venue.  The choir will again be conducted by Jack Rutherford with Rodney Clayton as accompanying.   So we will need singers, singers and more singers.  I don't need Kiri te Kanawas but just men and women who enjoy singing and have as much fun together as last year.

Finally some dates:

Sunday December 18th at 7pm at St  Peter Chanel.

First choir practice Thursday December 1st at 7.15pm.

We only need three practices as the choir carols are easy singing.
