Dunedin Group Riding for the Disabled



The core purpose of DRDA is to provide interaction with horses to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people experiencing disability, or who have specific challenges or needs.

We aim to enable and support disabled people to achieve good lives including meaningful participation in, and contribution to, important life activities and roles in their community.

Riders can be referred there are limited numbers, and medical certificates are required refer to our website for further information

Volunteers
To help in Sessions held Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings or Wednesday Afternoon refer to our website for further information
To help with horse care mornings and evenings, feeding out to horses, mucking out paddocks, covering horses, etc refer to our website for further information
To help with General maintenance

Facility is available for hire, Covered arena, Plans for Small Classroom meeting room, Kitchen available on site
